Guidelines for Scientific Abstract Submission
The ALARM 2023 organizing committee will be accepting abstracts from registered participants for either short 10-min oral or poster presentations on research topics relating to antimicrobial resistance (AMR) mechanisms and epidemiology, One Health, alternative strategies to target AMR pathogens (antivirulence, bacteriophages), preventative action, and computational approaches and AI in AMR. All submissions must be from participants of ALARM 2023. All submissions will be considered based on their scientific content, merit, and impact as evaluated by the organizing committee. Awards for Best Oral/Poster Presentation will be presented during the conference. Only one submission per registrant is permitted. When submitting abstracts please include a title, names of all authors/contributors with affiliations, followed by a concise abstract within 250 words that effectively conveys the background, aim, methodology, results, and conclusion of the study. Please use the below format for your abstract submission. Please submit complete abstracts as a Word or PDF file by November 12th, 2023 to asbtconferences@am.amrita.edu. In the email, please provide your name, position, and affiliation. The organizing committee will let you know by November 3rd if you are selected for an oral or poster presentation.
